Small but excellent!
Like the Marchfeld Country Cottage Hotel the Wildschönau Valley is small but excellent. Not too big but with everything you need for an exciting and relaxing winter holiday. We are proud of our perfectly groomed ski slopes and cross country tracks.
The ski areas are easily accessible by car or by free ski bus within minutes. Wide open runs guarantee a super day’s skiing. We have 5 ski schools in the Valley with over 150 highly qualified instructors between them. They offer a wide range of courses in skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, carving and much more! Special courses for kids, ski kindergarten as well as attractive Learn-to-Ski packages for novices are also available. Instructors, Alois and Sebastian have taken care of our house guests for many years. Classes take place right next to the hotel on two drag lifts.
Winter walkers delight in the magnificent winter scenery. Walks start right outside our front door. Make a stop at one of the many mountain huts in the valley for a warming, fragrant Glühwein or a healthy herbal tea; enjoy the view and the good company in the winter sunshine. You’ll want to stay forever.
